Department of Computer Science with Cognitive Systems, Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College organised a National Seminar on IoT Cyber Security: Challenges and Solutions for Social and Real-life Applications Sponsored by ICSSR, New Delhi in the college premises. The seminar was inaugurated with a presidential address delivered by Dr. Nalla G Palaniswamy, Chairman, NGPRET and Dr. Thavamani D Palaniswamy, Madam Secretary Dr. N.G.P. Educational Institutions followed by the Inaugural address delivered by Dr. Manju Khari, Professor, School of Computer and System Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. P. Thiyagarajan Dean Research Associate Professor and Head Department of Computer Science (Cyber Security), Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu and Mr. Dinesh Paranthagan, Director, Hackup Technology Pvt.Ltd, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Around 175 participants from more than 25 various institutions across India has been in part of this seminar. Around 25 papers have been presented in the seminar with 30 papers published in the seminar proceedings with ISBN number.
