PSG Polytechnic College had a proud moment with its Road Safety Patrol Team winning the Prestigious Commissioner of Police Road Safety Rolling Trophy award for the year 2017 – 2018. The honours were done by Sujit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Coimbatore by presenting the trophy to B. Giriraj, Principal, PSG Polytechnic College and N. Thampiraj, Faculty In-charge of RSP of PSG Polytechnic College.
S.Sivaramakrishnan, Chief Traffic Warden, Tamil Nadu Police Traffic Wardens and Kodiselvan, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic East), Coimbatore also graced the event with their presence. A short film named “Dhuvi Chakram” emphasizing the importance of Road safety enacted and directed by students of PSG PTC was also released during the event at PSG Polytechnic College.
