SLB Technology center, a global technology company has established an elastomer seal test facility at the Department of Nanoscience and Technology, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore on Friday.
The chief guest Veerabathraswamy Kandasamy, CMI Center Manager, SLB inaugurated the Elastomer lab. The purpose of this facility is to evaluate the aging properties of elastomer seals through joint collaborative expertise.
Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust presided over the inaugural ceremony. Alamelu, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College and Moorthi Pichumani, Professor at the Department of Nano Science and Technology were present.
Arulmani Ramasamy, Principal Welding Engineer, Kiruthika Thamburaj, Technology Manager – V&M of SLB and Ganesh, Adviser – Industry Institute Interface of SREC felicitated the gathering. The addresses initiated the intellect on innovative technologies among the students and young researchers.
