Raja M. Shanmugham, President addressing the press today said, “He met Giriraj Singh, The Hon’ble Union Minister of MSME in New Delhi to discuss the plight of Tirupur knitwear sector thereby requesting his help for restoration of Duty Drawback and ROSL rates and also enhancement of Interest Equalization incentive from 3% to 5% including GST related issues. The Hon’ble Minister has assured to help to address the issues.
Raja M Shanmugham said Ravindra Nath, Chairman, National Small Industries Corporation was also in the discussion meeting and that he mentioned about the NSIC support for imparting skill training to the workers.
