KPRCAS motivates High-School students to aspire & achieve

A career-guidance program for higher secondary students was organized virtually by the School of Computer Science at KPR College of Arts Science and Research recently.

‘Marabin Mainthan’ Muthiah, Editor, Namadhu Nambikkai magazine delivered the inaugural address and Kumar Vembu, Founder & CEO, Go Frugal rendered a special address.

Muthiah said, “Our education and our actions will change us so much; so that the world will keenly watch us. Many short stories have signified that we need dedication to achieve that. Our goal must always be to succeed, and success needs planning and determination.” He advised the student-participants to, “Strive to gain knowledge about the unknown.”

 

Kumar Vembu conveyed the importance of managing time and how important it is to succeed. He suggested the students to make best and careful use of the internet. He emphasized that success is the result of continuous effort. “Overcoming your fear over an action that you despise and learning to do it is the need of the hour”, he underlined.

More than 300 people including students and faculty members from schools and colleges took part in the program. At the end of their addresses, both speakers took questions from the participants and answered them.

Earlier, the College’s Principal Dr.Balusamy welcomed the guests. At the end of the event, Dr.S.Sasikala, Dean, Department of Computer Science, KPRCAS proposed the Vote of Thanks.
