PSG Tech hosts ICC3 2019

Focus falls on Computational Intelligence & Models and Cyber-security

The Department of Applied Mathematics of PSG Tech is conducting the 4th Edition of International Conference on Computational Intelligence, Cyber-security and Computational Models.

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Cyber-Security and Cloud Computing is the hot topic among today’s tech-education and community. It is safe to say that the foundation of all these is Computational Intelligence and Computational Models.

15 plenary speakers including International Resource Persons from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands; Stanford University and Natural Language and Text Processing Laboratory of the Center for Computing Research of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico are addressing the participants.

9 papers are being presented in this conference. 85 participants – faculty who are doing research in the three fields, scholars and software engineers from various companies are taking part in this event. The proceedings of this conference (9 out of 47 papers) will be published in the prestigious Springer Journals.

Students of the dept will have discussion with the Speakers to gain more clarity on their major. Dr. Suresh Balusamy, Program Chair, said the quality of PSG Tech students is known to the foreign delegates through their interaction and they are willing to take the students for internship and for recruitment.

The Conference is sponsored by DRDO, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and by Cognizant. It was inaugurated on 19.12.2019 and concludes on 21.12.2019
