Teams from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, participated in the 4th International Art Creativity & Engineering Exhibition (I+ACEH) 2019 organized by Univerisitas Ubudiyah Indonesia on 1 – 2 October, 2019. This was an international exhibition of innovation and invention, held annually, with specific intention to publish the best academic and commercial works created by lecturers and students, in order to develop innovative ideas that can be embodied into products that bring benefits to the community. This event saw a total of 62 teams from countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, USA and India, with active participation from many academies and associations.
SRIT teams, comprising of 21students and 15 faculty members, participated in this art, creativity and engineering exhibition. Eight innovative products were exhibited by SRIT and the products received accolades from the learned jury and fellow international participants.
SRIT bagged a total of 31 awards -8 Gold Awards under various categories of the exhibition, 7 Special Awards from Asia Invention Association (AIA), Korea Invention Academy (KIA), Korea Invention News (KIN), 1 Semi – Grand Award from Asia Invention Creativity Association (AICA), 4 MyRIS Best Innovation Awards from Malaysian Research & Innovation Society, 2 Grand Awards from Ubudaiyah Universitas Indonesia, 1 Grand Award from AIA with cash prize of IDR 500,000, 5 Outstanding Leadership Awards from AIA and 3 World Inventory Award.
