Forge hosts finals of Smart India Hackathon

The Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon Hardware edition is being hosted by Forge incubation enterprise between 8 and 12th July 2019.  This year’s participation (2 lakhs talented minds) speaks volumes about the significance of the impact generated.

Students are working in teams on any of the 198 Problem Statements obtained from 9 Union Ministry & Departments and 40+ industries covering various sectors.

At FORGE, there are 12 teams from across the country working non-stop for five days[July-8 to 12] to build deployment-ready technological solutions to different problem statements of their corporate partners- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., and Robert Bosch.

The 5 days Hardware edition Grand Finale includes 3 judging rounds and an additional power judging round where top teams will be judged by industry experts and technology veterans.

The top 3 winning teams at each centre will stand to win cash prizes – Rs 1,00,000/- to Winning team, Rs 75,000/- to First Runner-up team and Rs 50,000/- to Second Runner-up team and they stand a chance to be handheld by industries and technology business Incubators to make their products market-ready and become startups.

Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the Minister of HRD inaugurated the grand finale on 8th July and addressed the participants through a video conference.
