Jio Gigafiber may soon offer 100Mbps speed with DTH, Landline @Rs 600

Mukesh Ambani introduced the Jio Gigafiber on July 5, 2018 during the AGM of RIL. The Jio Ggafiber has been on the beta phase for a while but now with the AGM of RIL for 2019 is just 2 months away, it could be commercially launched on a national scale soon.

Industry insiders have reported thatJio Gigafiber could soon launch in just three months. So on July, 2019 we could place our bets on Mukesh Ambani led Telecom behemoth to disrupt the markets like it did with Jio 4G services.

Jio Gigafiber, as per sources, will offer 100 GB of Data at 100 Mbps speed bundled with TV services and landline connection for just Rs.600. These services will be bridged  by an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) box router.

We gathered info that Jio Gigafiber will offer TV services not traditionally but through IPTV (Internet Protocol television). How it will play with the TRAI’s rules could not be speculated at this moment but what we have heard so far is that we will get 600 channels to view.

We’ll know everything in the upcoming third quarter of 2019 at the Annual General Meeting of  RIL.
