The Department of Business Administration with Computer Applications BBA (CA) of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science organized a Women Empowerment Seminar for the students as a part of International Women’s day in the F Block Seminar Hall. Students from various departments participated in this seminar.
The Welcome Address was delivered by R. Sabitha, HOD, Department of BBA(CA), Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. A.Ponnusamy, Principal, Hindusthan College of Arts & Science delivered the presidential address to the gathering and he also stressed the contributions of women in the society and the need for the women students to remain empowered.
The Chief Guest Taslima Nasreen, First Transgender Swachh Bharat Ambassador and Founder of NGO “Change” spoke on the issues faced by women in the current scenario and motivated students to face the challenges with courage. She also shared her life experience with the students.
