SJSMVCAS students showcase Sweet making skills at Krishna Prasadam’19

Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (SJSMVCAS) saw the Dept. of Catering Science & Hotel Management organized Krishna Prasadam’19 within their college premises. This is the 16th Edition of the event and the theme for this year was Burfi Fiesta. The Chief Guest on the occasion was S.Ashok Kumar, Manager-Public Relations, The Residency Towers, Coimbatore.

On display were Indian sweets like Dry Fruit Burfi, Horlicks Burfi, Dates Burfi, Cocunut Burfi, Tricolor Burfi, Carrot Burfi, Milk Burfi, Moong Dal Burfi, Oats & Avil Burfi and likewise. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dhanalakshmi Jayachandran, Secretary, while the felicitation was offered by R.Premalatha, Principal, SJSMVCAS.

The program was conducted to help students know the different varieties of Indian sweets. There were a total of 11 varieties of sweets. The Chief Guest tasted all of them and gave his valuable feedback. The Chief Guest also had an interaction with the students of Catering Science & Hotel Management department.
