Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore West is conducting “Food Drive”, an initiative towards Support of Senior Citizens. The drive which started on 2nd January saw Dry food items being collected to be donated to the homes of Senior Citizen’s. As an individual most times we want to donate but are unaware of how and where to do it. The Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore West has undertaken this initiative in the past as well way back in 2016 and are re-launching it 2019.
Collection boxes have been placed at leading departmental stores with instructions as to what can be put inside are clearly displayed. The message is also being spread through the ever popular Social media and Word of Mouth. The club plans to collect all the boxes on January 14th and distribute its contents to the needy. To involve young minds, the club has joined hands with Interact Club of National Model School.
