
Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College recently hosted the “EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIONS IN SERVICE SECTORS (ETISS-2023)” National Conference. The event, organized collaboratively by various commerce departments, featured distinguished speakers and valuable insights.
In his presidential address, Muthuswamy, Director of Academics, stressed the importance of embracing new technologies.
Session I featured a Keynote Address by Pinky Rani from Indra Gandhi University, who shared her extensive teaching experience and discussed innovative technologies in service sectors. She also touched on Digital Currency and banking advancements, including on-campus account openings by the Central Bank of India Sitra Branch.
Session II, led by Kayalvizhi Balasubramanian, Assistant Director of MSME Development Institute, India, highlighted government support schemes for aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly in the MSME sector.
In the Valedictory Session, CA. Raghavan, Chartered Accountant and Former Prof at the Department of Commerce at the University of Madras Chepauk, addressed taxation in the service sector, emphasizing its impact on customer satisfaction.
These sessions provided attendees with valuable insights into emerging technologies and innovations in the service sectors, making ETISS-2023 a resounding success.
