The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Coimbatore annually recognizes individuals for their exceptional contributions to society and various fields during the Chamber Day event. In the 2023 edition held recently at Suguna Kalayana Mandapam, Coimbatore, three unsung heroes were honoured: Saleem (Jeeva Shanthy Trust) for dignified final rites for unknown souls, Prashanth for his dedication to “Solid Waste Management Practices” and Vairamani, who provides free burials for the destitute as an undertaker. They received cash award and also certificate of appreciation The event featured welcoming remarks by President Sriramulu, unsung heroes introductions by Vice Presidents, and a Vote of Thanks by Secretary Annamalai.
