Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore offers one-day training on “Beekeeping” every month at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, Coimbatore. The training for the month of June 2023 will be imparted on 06.06.2023 (Tuesday). Hands-on training will be imparted on the Identification of bee species and social organization of bees, Rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management, Bee forage, yield increase of crops through cross-pollination, Honey extraction and Enemies and diseases of bees and their management.
The candidates willing to attend the one-day training have to be present at the Department of Entomology, TNAU, Coimbatore at 9 am, show an ID proof and remit the training fee of Rs.590/- (Rupees five hundred and ninety only) on the day of training. Training timings: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
