The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore SmartCity organized a free event titled “Blurred Lines: Navigating the Gray Areas of Gender, Identity, and Sexual Health” on Friday at the CoIndia Auditorium in Avarampalayam. The event aimed to provide comprehensive sex and sexuality education to the general public.
The event featured esteemed speakers including Yudara Kularathne, Co-founder & CEO of HeHealth, Kalki Subramaniam, Founder of Sahodari Foundation, and Swati Jagdish, Director of Bond & Beyond. They covered various topics related to sexual health and education, including the role of technology in diagnosis, STDs, trans-inclusivity, inclusivity in language, sex education, consent, and creating sex-positive families.
The event saw a diverse participation of over 90 attendees from different age groups and professions, including both Rotaractors and non-Rotaractors.
