TNAU signs MoU with ACSEN Agriscience Private Ltd

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and ACSEN Agriscience Private Limited, Coimbatore on Monday for facilitating Postgraduate Students’ Research.

ACSEN is a Coimbatore-based industry, leading in research, breeding and crop production programs in important Vegetable and Field crops like Corn, Millet, Rice and Mustard. TNAU is mandated to teach, research and extension in various areas of Agriculture in Tamil Nadu. Both parties desired to join hands mutually for academic collaborations.

Senthil, Dean (SPGS), TNAU welcomed the gathering. TamizhVendan, Registrar, TNAU and Senthilnathan, Chairman & Managing Director, ACSEN signed the agreement and exchanged in presence of Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU. She remarked on the essentiality of this academic collaboration and the way forward.

The delegates from both parties, Ravikesavan, Director (Centre for Plant Breeding and Genetics), Umarani, Director (Seed Centre), Somasundaram, Director (Agribusiness Development), Kokiladevi, Professor & Head (Plant Biotechnology), Manonmani, Professor & Head (Seed Science and Technology) from TNAU and Palanikumar, Liaison Officer, ACSEN attended the signing ceremony.
