PSG Hospitals inaugurated Advanced Paediatric Liver Clinic at its premises, today. Dr Subbarao, Principal, PSG IMSR & Hospital, Dr Jaganathan, General Manager Administration and Dr Bhuvaneswaran, Medical Director, PSG super speciality hospitals inaugurated the Clinic with the presence of all the Head of the Departments.
Here, the Liver related problems in children are treated by a team of doctors and specialist paediatric hepatologists with state-of-the-art facilities. It also consists of a Liver transplant facility for children. This clinic operates on Wednesdays from 9 AM to 1 PM in ‘B’-Block Paediatric OPD.
The pediatric Liver Specialist Unit has Paediatric hepatologist consultation, a genetic metabolic diagnostic test for liver disease, Fibroscan / Elastography scan of liver, MRCP to assess biliary anatomy, etc.
