The Department of Emergency Medicine in KMCH organized a Conference cum Workshop AMTEC’ 23 (Acute Management of Trauma in Emergency Conditions) on 25th and 26th March 2023 at the Hospital, an initiative to deliver healthcare and enlighten young minds. This annual meeting focused on various perspectives of healthcare in the emergency department. Emergency Department with state-of-the-of art resources in KMCH conducted various sessions in trauma management and focused on live demonstration of emergency procedures with experienced faculties followed by individual hands-on training sessions about trauma management.
Dr Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH inaugurated the conference and addressed the burden of road traffic accidents in Tamil Nadu. Dr Arun N Palaniswami, Executive Director, KMCH congratulated the organising team – Dr Selvarajan, Dr Dhilipan and Dr Venkatachalam.
