Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Youth Red Cross Cell organized a “Cancer Awareness Program” in collaboration with Royal Health Care Hospital, Coimbatore on 17th March 2023 at the college premises.
Subramani, the Principal of the College presided over the function. Dr T. Sujit, Consultant Radiation Oncologist, American Oncology Institute at Royal Care Hospital served as the resource person. The session dealt with Symptoms of Cancer, Types of Viruses and Bacteria, prevention from other diseases and staying healthy and diet plans were presented by the doctor.
Devaki and Aravind, Staff Members and Karthi, Programme Officer of YRC addressed the event. Around 600 YRC students’ volunteers and staff members participated in the programme.
