The Department of Commerce with CA along with the Department of Business Administration, SNMV College of Arts and Science organized a rally and program on “Consumer Awareness on Law and Responsibility” on Friday. The program began with a rally from the college to Malumachampatti junction, to propagate the importance of consumerism through distributing notices and using placards to make the village people aware of their consumer rights. The fund has been received from the government.
Subramani, Principal, SNMV CAS, presided over the function. Indirani, Director, Federation of Consumer Organization, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, Fed cot-President, Pollachi Consumer Association, Pollachi, served as the resource person. She emphasized the Importance of Consumerism. Naveen Rajkumar, Head Department of BBA and Chinna Sahaya Rani, Head Department of BCOM (CA) addressed the program. Around 110 students along with the staff members were participated.
