Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies, A Stand-alone B-School, Coimbatore, organized a program on “Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24” on Thursday. Valarmathi Director – VIMS, advised the students to analyse and understand the role of Union Budget allocation and its impact in a systematic and integrated way.
Sasikantth, Chartered Accountant, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest of the event. The first-year MBA students presented their views from various sectors such as Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Defense, Education, Health, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Automobile, Energy, Telecommunication, Retail and FMCG, Real estate, Social service and Railway. In their presentation, they compared the allocation with the previous year’s budget and presented experts’ opinions and the impact of this budget on the economy. Sasikantth evaluated students’ presentations and educated them on the effect of this budget from different dimensions.
