The 2nd Conference on Healthcare Startup Connect: Future of Healthcare was organized by the CII – Confederation of Indian Industry on Monday at Hotel, the Residency Towers, Coimbatore. About 150 delegates attended the conference.
Shravan Subramanyam, President of NATHEALTH and Former President and CEO of GE Healthcare in India and South Asia, in his keynote address, discussed the future of healthcare and modern technologies, such as teleradiology, tele-ICU, and artificial intelligence.
Subramanyam said, “sharing the scan data was challenging before the internet entered the world, but thanks to modern technology, we can now diagnose a patient remotely”. He discussed the importance of precision in healthcare, which is difficult for human doctors but possible with robots or other technology.
Prashanth Subramanian, Chairman of the CII Coimbatore zone and Director of Quadrasystems.net India Pvt Ltd, Swathy Rohit, the Co-founder and CEO of Health Basix, and Dr Bhuvaneswaran, Convenor of Healthcare Panel of CII Coimbatore Zone and the Director of PSG Hospitals addressed the session.
