KASC enters into MoU with Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia

The Department of Biotechnology of Kongunadu Arts and Science College and Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, Indonesia entered in to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 2 Feb 2023. Although the MoU had been signed in 2020, Covid-19 protocols delayed the process of the written collaboration till now and the faculty from both institutions engaged in online activities so far.

S.R Madhan Shankar, Head along with Dr. J. Nelson Abimanyu and his entourage from Kongunadu Arts and Science College will stay for 40 days at the university. They will engage in academic activities like teaching Undergraduate and Masters students of Biotechnology, Food Processing and Biotechnology and Biotechnology Engineering, identifying and exploring mutual areas of interest for research collaboration and joint publication and other allied academic activities with the Faculty of Computer Science.

An action plan proposed by the Department of Biotechnology of KASC has a clear vision of internationalisation by 2025 by way of credit transfers, mutual student exchange programme for Masters and Research and conduct of joint seminars and conferences. To further accelerate the mobility program, three professors from Faculty of Agriculture Technology will be visiting KASC between March 10, 2023 and April 4, 2023 for Teaching and Research.
