International Conference On Pure And Applied Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics of Kongunadu Arts and Science College organised the 6th International Conference on Current Scenario in Pure and Applied Mathematics (ICCSPAM2023) between 27 and 28 January, 2023 through online mode.

Dr. Dafik, Professor of Mathematics, University of Jember, Indonesia in his inaugural address elaborated the role of Mathematicians in addressing the local issues. Prof. Dr. Sunil Jacob John, Professor, Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Calicut, delivered his special lecture on the topic ‘On some extensions of Fuzzy sets and their applications’ in the Technical Session I. In his lecture, he discussed the concept of vagueness and explained the various fuzzy sets that are used by researchers.

In the Technical Session II, Dr. P.G. Patil, Professor and Chairman, Department of Mathematics, Karnatak University, delivered his lecture on the topic ‘Binary Soft Functions and Δ-metric spaces’. He explained all the basic concepts of Binary soft set theory which is currently an emerging field in the Research arena.

Later, Prof. Dr. Ismail Naci Cangul, Department of Mathematics, Bursa Uludag University, Turkey delivered his lecture on the topic ‘Graph realisation and some combinatorial calculations’ where he listed down some of the recent combinatorial calculations and graphical approach related to them.
