Shankar IAS Academy in association with Young Indians (Yi) launched a unique competition for College Students called ‘Become One Day – District Collector, Police Commissioner, Corporation Commissioner’, recently during the 15th Edition of Coimbatore Vizha.
Students who register and participate in this competition will be provided problem statements identified by Dist. Administration, Police Dept. and City Corporation relating to Solid Waste Management, e-Governance, Drug Abuse, Women Safety, Accident-free Roads, Cyber Security and Water Management, and the students will have to make a presentation of their innovative solutions to the provided problem statements.
The Winners will spend a day with District Collector, Police Commissioner and Corporation Commissioner, and all winners, runners-up and all finalists will be provided up to 100% scholarship for the courses conducted by Shankar IAS Academy.
To register and participate, the students will have to scan the QR Code and fill out the Google Form that appears. The last date to both register and submit the PPT file is January 19th. The shortlisted participants will be informed via phone call and E-Mail.
The Semi-finals will be held on January 21st, and the Finals will be held at Shankar IAS Academy, followed by the Award Ceremony. It must be mentioned that the Jury of the Finals will include an Additional Collector and Deputy Commissioner of Police.
