Grand Finale of GSEA EO Coimbatore Chapter

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization Coimbatore Chapter is organizing the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) on Saturday.

EO GSEA is the premier global competition for student entrepreneurs who actively run a business. Student nominees compete in qualifying competitions at the chapter level, regional and global levels in hopes of earning the title of global champion.

EO Coimbatore’s GSEA received some good applicants for this year, 15 shortlisted for the semi finals and top 07 selected for the finals with some solid business ideas.

Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director & CEO at Tamil Nadu Start-up and Innovation Mission, Government of Tamil Nadu addressed at the EO Coimbatore GSEA Chapter Finale.

His keynote address focused on the momentum of start up and key requirements that include, mentorship, innovation, incubation centres and other subsequent features. He touched upon the various government schemes and allocation for start-ups especially for the students fraternity.

Riyasdeen Samsudeen, Founder, Spezar Tech Pvt ltd, Winner won INR 1,00,000 and Vibhooshana Lakshmanan, Founder, Magic Bubbles, Runner won Rs 50,000 Cash prize money along with the Mentorship opportunity as a next phase, South Asia’s 20+’chapters will conduct its National finals at Pune and followed by the Global finals, With more than 2000 competitors from more than 50 countries, EO GSEA is an exclusive opportunity for student entrepreneurs to make connections, find resources, and grow their businesses.

Rajdeepan Swaminathan, President, EO Coimbatore and Anand Thangaraj, Chair, GSEA along with Jury members, Mentors and other board members and finalists were part of the finale.
