LMW ATC delivered Composites Structure for LVM3 Mission

LMW – Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) completed its first delivery of the Composites Equipment Bay Shroud (EBS) Assembly to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, a division of ISRO. This hardware is scheduled for the upcoming launch of the LVM3 One Web mission. Four more are scheduled to be delivered by December 2023.

EBS Assembly is a complex and critical 4m diameter CFRP hat-stiffened structure that houses sensitive equipment of the GSLV. The composite segments are fabricated using carbon fibre Prepreg and aluminium core material which is cured using an Autoclave and is then assembled using various titanium and aluminium hardware to tight tolerances.
