Chandrans Yuva Foundation & SSVM Institutions’ Yuva Club set a World Record

Chandrans Yuva Foundation & Yuva Club students of SSVM World School came together to structure a 15 feet tall Christmas Tree look alike using 12,000 books in 1.5 hours and successfully set a World Record at the school premises.

Chirstofer Taylor Craft from World Records Union, Florida judged the attempt and handed over the official world record certificate to the Yuva Club Students of the school in a ceremony.

Chief Guests Manimekalai Mohan, Founder & Managing Trustee, SSVM Institutions, C. Sivanesan, Founder Chandrans Yuva Foundation, Shasikala Sathiyamurthy, Co-founder, Chandrans Yuva Foundation and Chirstofer Taylor Craft witnessed the record attempt.

Talking about this attempt, Shasikala Sathiyamurthy said that every month, Chandrans Yuva Foundation does a social activity, and this attempt has a significant social connection. She added that all the 12,000 books used in this Christmas tree-like structure would be used in Chandrans Yuva Foundation’s Library Project.

The foundation plans to set up libraries in several Corporation and Government Schools in Coimbatore, and it will begin by the next academic year.
