Dr.N.G.P. College of Education, RRC (Red Ribbon Club) & YRC (Youth Red Cross) jointly organised an AIDS awareness programme.
Resource persons Dr.N.Seetharaman, Professor & Head of Community Medicine and Dr.A.Rupan, Senior Resident, Dept. of Dermatology, KMCH Institute of Health Science and Research shared the session. They discussed the life-threatening infections and illnesses caused by AIDS and its modes of spread, treatment options, adverse effects on the immune system, and preventive measures to be taken by an individual.
