S.P.Velumani examines flood-affected areas

Former AIADMK Minister S.P.Velumani on Tuesday visited more than 100 families as part of the flood-relief measure distributing dhotis, sarees, rice and other household essentials to people in the flood-affected zone.

Apparently, in the last couple of days, Coimbatore was stunned by heavy rain affecting the routine life of the public. This was followed by heavy mist covering major areas of the city. Amidst such environmental hindrances, people took part in a protest condemning the district administration and the government.

Considering these situations, S.P.Velumani, a Member of the Legislative Assembly, Thondamuthur Constituency, visited more than 100 families to extend flood relief materials in Thondamuthur and Puthur village.
