Recently, the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) team of the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology conducted an awareness program for the faculty and student volunteers. Dr M.Akila, Principal and Dr P.Geetha, Head, first year, KPRIET, enlightened the importance of Rural Development.
Chief Guest Dr E.Somasundram, UBA – regional coordinator, TNAU, Coimbatore, briefed the ideas of various avenues to serve the villages. He also commented on the technology development and its importance in agriculture, water management, health and nutrition.
Student volunteers and faculty members were honoured with certificates and shields during the event.
