National Model senior secondary school celebrated its 17th Annual sports day with great enthusiasm and excitement. The events begin with the hoisting of the national flag and school flag in the Nehru Stadium followed by the school parade of the four houses namely, flyers, sprinters, mariners and Skiers.
The sports events were witnessed by Uma Mohan, Secretary, National Model Group of Schools. Baby, Principal of National Model Matric Higher Secondary School and Geetha, Principal of National Model Senior Secondary School CBSE graced the occasion with their presence.
Students participated eagerly in various events like 100 m, 800 m, 1500 M, shot-put and long jump. Juniors and Sub juniors participated in 60 m, 100 m, long jump, cricket and throw-Ball. The winners of various events were congratulated and awarded medals and certificates.
