Recently, the Red Ribbon Club (RRC), National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) units of our Dr.N.G.P Institute of Technology organized a Blood Donation Camp, in association with Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH), Coimbatore.
More than 150 volunteered to donate their blood and 94 units of blood were collected from the volunteers who were found fit medically for blood donation. The Medical Team from CMCH conveyed that the number of units donated was noticeably high in their experience, highly appreciated the spirit of the donors and praised the meticulous conduct of the camp by student volunteers, under the guidance of faculty advisors. All the donors were encouraged with an appreciation certificate.
