Recently, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, in association with the Industry Institute Interaction Cell and the Institution’s innovation Council, organized a two-day Industry-Academia Conclave. Dr G Chandramohan, Principal, PSG iTech presided over the event.
While inaugurating the Industry-Academia Conclave 2022, Vivekanandah, Director, Tata Electronics Private Limited, Tamil Nadu stated that 90% of the products come from institutional labs and incubation centres, which indicates the strong collaboration between academia and industry.
At the same time, he made an appeal to all the students to develop interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and soft skills. He added, “The ability to solve problems starts from one’s home and the students must dream big and visualize the objects, which they intend to design and develop in the laboratories.”
Around twenty experts from various industries like cyber security, automotive technology, construction management, electric vehicles, embedded systems and future mobility-aerospace interacted with students and faculty from various departments.
