PSG iTech conducted 4th Commencement ceremony

PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research conducted its 4th graduation ceremony for the 2017-2021 batch. As many as 349 students received their graduation certificates.

Malavika from civil engineering and Akshay Kumar from the Mechanical engineering departments secured the 1st rank in Anna University. They received a gold medal from PM Narendra Modi in the month of July.

L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the event with the declaration of the 4th graduation ceremony of PSG iTech.

Mohanram, Secretary, PSG iTech, felicitated the guest GA Srinivasa Murthy, Outstanding Scientist and Director, DRDL, accompanied by Dr G Chandramohan, Principal, PSG iTech.

Following this, guest GA Srinivasa Murthy, Outstanding Scientist and Director, DRDL, awarded the rank holders with medals and conferred the graduates of various departments with their certificates.

Presenting the welcome note, L. Gopalakrishnan proudly announced that 25 students of PSG iTech have secured Anna University ranking. He took pride in the achievements of their students by receiving medals from the Prime Minister. He did mention that PSG iTech is listed in the top 124th place in the national NIRF ranking.

While presenting the special address, GA Srinivasa Murthy applauded the technical advancement of the institution and advised the students to make the best out of this. He said, “As a mother gave birth to you to be a part of this physical world, this institution is a second mother in imparting values and making you fit to live in the competitive world.”

He encouraged every graduate to seek more exploration’ not to limit under any circumstance and bring the best of it for the well-being of society. He added that converting the imagination into reality will gain momentum in life.
