Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women(Deemed to be University), Coimbatore has been conferred the prestigious ‘Best University (Food Science) Award 2022’ at the National Nutri Cereal Convention organized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Indian Institute of Millets Research, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare, Government of India. Dr. S. Kowsalya, Registrar and Professor, Department of Food Science and Nutrition received the award on behalf of Avinashilingam Women University from Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Agriculture Minister, Governor of Telangana.
