Rao Hospital receives Best Hospital award

Rao Hospital was awarded the Best Gyane-Laparoscopy & Fertility hospital by Subramanian, Tamil Nadu Minister of Health & Family Welfare, at the Vikatan Pulse Health Care Awards along with a certificate of excellence. Dr. Damodar R. Rao, Associate Director – Rao Hospital & CARE received the award on behalf of the hospital.

Rao Hospital was established in 1953 by Dr. Major Sudhakar Rao, son of Dr.Raghavendra Rao, the chief surgeon of former Travancore. With about more than six decades of its journey in health service, it has progressed with 100 bedded comprehensive women’s hospital and Centre for Assisted Reproduction and Endoscopy (CARE).
