PSG IM organized a series of events in observance of the Onam festival. One of the significantly celebrated festival among the Malayalam world is a harvest festival marked on the 22nd Nakshatra Thiruvonam.
In this connection, PSG IM commenced the celebrations on August 30 and continued till September 8, 2022.
The campus of PSGIM reverberated with Onam festivities – pookolams, garlands and colorful banners along with the cultural performances by the students.
Dr. V. Srividya, Director i/c inaugurated the celebrations which included Pookolam competition, tug-of-war and dances to traditional Onapattu. Alongsid, Srividya also presented certificate of appreciation to the winners.
Coordinated by Dr. Ramkumar, the various staff and faculty were part of the event.
