Recently, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology (Autonomous) inaugurated the Indian Association of Energy Management Professionals (IAEMP) student chapter. The function was inaugurated by Dr.L.Ashok Kumar, Chairman, IAEMP Coimbatore Chapter in the presence of Dr.S.U.Prabha, Principal, Dr.S.Jaganathan, Professor & Head-EEE and Dr.A.Senthilnathan. The chief guest addreseed on the need for “Energy Conservation and Energy Audit.” Meanwhile, Dr.S. RamPrakash, Executive Engineer, TANGEDCO presented the overview of “Generation Utilization & Transmission of Energy”
