Recently, Sankara College of Science and Commerce organized an expert talk on “CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN SOFTWARE TESTING”. Around 150 students from the department benefited from the event.
The event was inaugurated and presided over by Dr. V. Radhika, Principal, Sankara College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore, along with Dr.M.Lingaraj, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & Data Analytics.
The resource person S. Balaji, Associate Architect, Legato Health Technologies, Bengaluru, presented the essential skills to be acquired to take up jobs in Software Testing. He listed out the various software testing tools used in the industry, and also explained the Software Testing Life Cycle process followed in the industry. He emphasized the importance of domain knowledge and the basic programming skills to be acquired to enter the software testing industry.
In addition, He shared the expectations of IT recruiters and expected the students to get more exposure during their academic ventures.
