TNAU confers Best Institution Award

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is ranked 4th among the State Agricultural Universities of India and has also been bestowed with the Sardar Patel Best Institution Award 2021 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

TNAU has been conferred with INSTITUTION OF EXCELLENCE AWARD – 2021 by the All India Agricultural Students Association (AIASA). The award was presented on the occasion of the International Conference on “Advances in Agriculture and Food System towards Sustainable Development Goals (AAFS-2022)”, jointly organized by the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, All India Agricultural Students Association and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research at University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru (Karnataka).

TNAU’s contribution in educating more than 6000 students every year, developing 850 varieties and 1500 technologies that facilitated augmenting the food grain production by more than 120 lakh tones in the state of Tamil Nadu was recognized and acknowledged.
