Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (SNMV CAS) welcomed its fresh batch of 2022 conducting the ‘Swajith 2022’ on Thursday. Around 1300 students along with their parents attended the programme.
Dr B Subramani, Principal welcomed the students followed by, Mahaveer Bothra, Vice President, CWA & SNMV, who presided over the function.
Highlighting the 100% scholarship facilities for outstanding students, he encouraged all young minds to dedicate themselves completely to the journey of success. In addition, free hostel facilities and exclusion of uniform fees, sports Scholarships, and IAS Academy were specified.
Sunilkumar Nahata, Secretary, SNMV, and Ashok Lunia, Treasurer, CWA, SNMV CAS graced the occasion with their presence.
Guest, Prof. T Santhamani, Professor in Tamil, writer, Tamil Orator, Motivational speaker and Chairs in Pattimandram emphasized the importance of education by quoting the words “Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is reached”.
She claimed that every individual should carry the privilege of having an acquainted education from one of the reputed institutions. According to her, Birth, Classroom and Death were the three significant factors of life. In addition, she brought to light the teachers and highlighted their power of shaping the students by praising individuals in society. As a statement of motivation, she encouraged students to develop a positive mindset and throw out all the negativities from their minds, to achieve success in life.
Eventually, the merit and sports persons from the freshers received a memento along with the 100% scholarship reward from the guest. The pledging moment was presided by Fg Offr. T. Purushothaman, HOD- Department of Biotechnology.
