Two arrested in Delhi for the alleged rape of a minor girl

On Monday, the Delhi police informed of the arrest of two for allegedly raping a 17 YO minor girl.

According to official reports, the incident occurred during the early hours of Monday, around the bushes of the railway tracks near the Tilak Bridge.

The police reported that the identified accused Hardeep Nagar (21) and Rahul (20) were residents of Faridabad and Agra respectively.

Harendra Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said, “The case has been registered under section 376D of the Indian Penal Code and both have been arrested”

The officials stated that the minor was identified as a resident of Gujarat who arrived at the Delhi station to board a train to Gujarat with her friend. Meanwhile, she requested the two mobile phones to make a call to her brother. The two took her back into the bushes and then raped the girl.

The police reported that further investigation into the incident is underway.
