Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus gets placed in the Raaba Book of World Records 2022. Velammal organized a one-day workshop for the students of classes 6 and 7 on ‘Basic Aerospace modelling’.

The participants of the workshop created a record of the youngest batch of students making the maximum number of gliders. As many as 200 students were part of the workshop making the maximum gliders.

Balaji Varadhan CEO and Co-Founder of Village Technology School and Balaji Thiru, CEO and Founder of Robotics Foundation of Tamil Nadu presided over the session explaining the theory of developing the gliders.
