PSG IM organize Cohort 16

PSG Institute of Management organized its Commencement Programme for the 2022 batch of Management Studies, on Friday. Graduates across PSG’s international collaboration with the College of Business and Innovation, University of Toledo and Northern Kentucky University (NKU) also received their graduation.

A total of 315 students from various Management Programs of PGS Institute received their graduation.

L Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons Charities, declared the ceremony open with a few words denoting the tremendous opportunity available and for the fresh graduates to stream their managerial skills. Later, Srividya, Director of PSG Institute of Management, delivered the welcome note with a word of appreciation for the students regarding the successful completion of the course during the crisis.

While presenting the felicitation, Anne Balazs, Dean, John B & Lillian E Neff College of Business & Innovation, University of Toledo, said, “You are going to change the world. This is just a professional progress but you must utilize the acquired skills for a positive change in the world”. She added stating that the students must be prepared for the unexpected global challenge throughout life by learning from their mistakes to become good leaders to make the world a better place with individual skills.

Followed by, Hassan R HassabElnaby, Dean, Haile/ US Bank College of Business, NKU, said, “Don’t be afraid to fail, nothing goes in vain, every sacrifice matters. Set high goals and get yourselves recognized.”

“Excellence is a habit, not an action and should be made habitual in life routine by aiming high” he added.

Special awards for the best outgoing students under various categories was distributed before the final address of Kalyanaraman, Managing Director, Technology Consulting, Protiviti. He stressed the professional corporate attitude and advised the students to make the best benefit of their business skills.
