‘RUN FOR PEACE’- 23rd cross country race

Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School, Kallar organised its mini 23rd cross country race-themed ‘RUN FOR PEACE’ for the students.

The cross-country race is organized every year to develop team spirit and the human spirit, helping them handle their lives with ease.

As many as 750 students from classes 9 to 12, participated in the event. They ran from Black Thunder to the school’s main ground covering a distance of 5 km, separated into three major teams. The team spirit, endurance and perseverance of the students were a highlight of the event.

The race was flagged off by Chief Guest Selvaraj, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mettupalayam in the presence of the Secretary of the school, Kavidasan, the Academic Advisor, Ganesan, the Principal, Umamaheswari, the Vice-Principal, Sakthivel and teachers Shanmugan, the Inspector of police Mettupalayam, was also present on that occasion.
