SRCW celebrates College Day

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women (SRCW) held its 31st College Day on Thursday.

Subha Neithilath, Technology Head – Connected Assets & Digital Twin, IOT and Digital Engineering, Tata Consultancy Services, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest.

K.Chitra, Principal, presented the Annual Report and listed out the highlights and achievements of faculty and students in curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular, research etc.

R.Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, delivered the Presidential address. He wished the students to walk in the way of Mahatma Gandhi, and quoted his words “Literacy in itself is no education, literacy is not the end of education or even the beginning. By education he meant an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and body, mind and spirit.”

The Chief Guest in her speech emphasized setting goals and visions. She wanted them all to set goals, find opportunities and put in hard work.

Students’ excellence in academics, research, extension and sports activities were honored with awards. Faculty members were also recognised for outstanding research contributions.
