KPRIET to expose students to Japanese

As Japan is becoming a land of great opportunities, the Department of English, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) inaugurated its Japanese Club called KPRIET IJIAA Forum recently to give the students a taste of the oriental language and its myriad benefits.

A MoU was signed with SST Global – Japanese Plus by the college to guide the members of the club in pursuing Japanese. R.Navaneethan, Advisor, Academic Relations, Japanese Pluz SST Global and Akila, Principal, KPRIET exchanged the MoU.

As the world is looking forward to move fast ahead into the next quarter of the 21st century, students of today need broad and wide knowledge and communication skills to venture into different areas of the industries in various geographies.

“One of the guests at the inaugural, Prof. Yamazaki Yoichi from Kanagawa Institute of Technology, Japan elucidated the importance of gaining broader perspectives, higher thinking skills and new learning strategies through the collaboration of Industry and academia,” a press release mentioned.

“The students of KPRIET are prepared for future, as learning foreign language and communicating with the multi-ethnic society becomes an inevitable skill to boost the professional value” said the Principal, M.Akila.
