Art Houz in Coimbatore is set to present an exhibition on Kerala Mural paintings known as Kalakriti. The exhibition will have artists Vishnu Vikraman and Rajesh Pulappatta.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. K.K.Ramachandran, Director, GRD College of Science, Coimbatore. Mural paintings have been an integral art form since time immemorial. The cave inscriptions, paintings and the murals in temples and palaces give us an insight into the changing cultures and evolution. Artist
Rajesh from Kerala completed his MFA Painting (Mural) from Visva-Bharati University, West Bengal while his counterpart Vishnu also from Kerala completed his Masters of Fine Arts. For Vishnu this is his 23nd Exhibition. The gallery timings were fixed at 10 A.M. -6 P.M. from Monday – Saturday.
